CHESTERFIELD, MI. – Mr. Jim Manville, CFO & Vice President, Administration, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Greg Avesian to Director of Information Systems, effective March 8, 2010. Jim Manville said, “We are delighted that Greg has joined the Burtek team. Greg’s extensive experience in driving business improvements will be invaluable to Burtek as we expand our business and execute on our strategic plans.”

Mr. Avesian brings over 20 years of Information Systems experience with companies in the Aerospace/Defense and Automotive industries to Burtek, Inc. His background includes 10 years at Textron, Inc. and 14 years at Chrysler Corporation. Mr. Avesian has held various leadership roles in Information Systems, Information Security & Risk Management, Engineering, and Lean/Six Sigma implementation.

Mr. Avesian’s education includes BS and MS degrees from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University.
