to announce that it has signed a letter of intent with Burtek, Inc. to
enter into a teaming agreement regarding Burtek’s
representation and/or production of Vision’s hydrogen fuel cell-related
products for the U.S. defense market.The Vision products under consideration for this teaming agreement
include Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell trucks; its mobile
synthetic hydrogen fuel generation system; and platform, trailer and other
vehicle platforms with hydrogen fuel cell power trains as they are made
commercially available by Vision.

the fact that a full 80 percent of all United States Marine Corps fatalities
occur in convoys; 40 percent of which are primarily involved in the transport
of both water and fossil fuels,” said Dr. James I. Finley, President and

MI. – Dr. James Finley, President & CEO of Burtek, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. James “Mitch” Howell to be Vice President of Programs Management, effective February 15, 2010. Dr. Finley said, “We are delighted to have Mitch join us and very pleased that he brings his military background, systems engineering experience, and programs management leadership to Burtek.”
Mr. Howell has over 30 years of Aerospace & Defense Military and Industry experience. His extensive background ranges from United States Army Special Operations, Mechanized Infantry and Military Intelligence, and most recently, 12 years with the Lockheed Martin Corporation, where Mr. Howell was Business Area Senior Program Manager. In that capacity, Mr. Howell directed all phases of programs from inception through completion. He was responsible for cost, schedule and performance of programs, led contract negotiations, coordinated proposals and developed follow-on and new business with domestic and international customers.
Mr. Howell’s education and awards include a BS degree from Indiana University, a Bronze Star from Operation Desert Storm, and two Full Spectrum Leadership Awards from Lockheed Martin.
Mr. Howell is in the process of relocating to MI with his wife, Lisa Howell (BSN).

His experience spans air, land, sea and space programs for the DoD as well as major programs with the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
